I've always known I'm an actress - ever since I was a little girl my future was rather clear. I was to be an actress,
a writer and a director, and will move to the united states of America to follow that dream.
At an early age I would produce puppet shows or mini shows for my family and the entire neighborhood, and later on, when
we moved to Tel Aviv to live with Mommy,
I attended "A.D. Gordon" School, which was a school of the arts in any form - we mostly studied poems, novels, paintings and
sculptures, and also theater shows, and were suppose to express our thoughts on those artsy things by writing a poem
or an essay, painting or drawing a
picture, or writing and performing a short play on the subject matter.
Man, did I like that school!
Later on there was somewhat of a break in the form of high school, and living with Dad. See, dad's wife wasn't the most supportive human being ever, and
so I ended up mostly writing (school news paper, short stories) and occasionally scouting shows to have performed for the
other students, or attending the school's shows and drama club. Not the most professional, but sure was a lot of fun!
And then I finally got here!
Since living in NY I took a few classes at the School for Film and TV. I was
also acquainted with the Meisner technique, and went to study a full academic year
with the renowned Larry Silverberg. Shortly after finishing Larry's program, I co
produced an off off Broadway show case, with Einav Markel.
We both wrote some of the scenes that were performed that night, and performed in it ourselves.
That spring (2005) I started attending the Lee Strasberg
school of acting full time, and fell in love with the method, Mauricio Bustsamante,
Irma Sandrey, and a few other teachers. I also managed to film a few short films
in between, and appear in a couple more of Broadway shows.
Last spring, the spring of 2006, I met an Israeli director by the name of Isaac
Zepel Yeshurun, and helped him cast and
produce his indie feature "Places". I was the person who hired crew, got the props, helped with set design, costumes and more.
I also ended up making a small cameo on that film, playing an out of her wits, by polar character, by the name of Cordelia.
Recently I have been interning with Eric Falkenstein,
a renownd Broadway producer (Bridge & Tunnel, Butley
and more) and am focusing on finishing my studies at strasberg, and entering a new
stage in my career - a stage in which I can actually get paid for my work in the US!
